Joni E. Craycraft

Joni Elizabeth Craycraft, 53, died Wednesday after a 30 year battle with Crohn's disease. She was born June 24, 1961 in Lexington, KY to Barbara Johns Craycraft and the late Robert Clay Craycraft. Joni worked for the Kroger Company for many years and enjoyed reading. Survivors are a brother, Billy (Beth) Craycraft, two nieces, Rachael and Lily Craycraft, four nephews, Sean, Eric and Cameron Craycraft and Chris Maynard, a special cousin, Naresa Fain, her former husband and lifelong friend, Gary Carter, a devoted friend and neighbor, Carolyn Taylor, numerous other family and friends. Services will be 11:00 am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Yates officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday. Bearers will be Sean, Eric and Cameron Craycraft, Chris Maynard, Gary Carter and Rick Ellis. Donations are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research.
