John "Jack" Edward Farrell

July 13, 1932 — January 17, 2011

John 'Jack' Edward Farrell, 78, loving husband of fifty three years to Marlene Farrell, of Lone Oak Drive, passed away on January 17, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital with his beloved family by his side. He was a retired controller of Parker Seal, a veteran of the Korean War, was a graduate of American International College, was a faithful member of St. Luke and PAX Christi Church. Jack was a big fan of the Boston Red Socks, UK basketball and was a retired member of Lone Oak Country Club. He was born in Springfiled, MA, son of the late Raymond and Marion Farrell. Additional survivors include a son, Thomas Farrell, two daughters, Lori (Roger) Fairchild and Kelli (Matt) Kimball, grandchildren, Kelsey and Brody Farrell, Marlenea Gower, Taylor and Colin Kimball, a brother Robert (Lillian) Farrell, sisters Marilyn (George) Carney and Eileen Slepno, several nieces and nephews, all his loving walking friends and Fayette Mall, special friends at LeLynn RV Motor Park, FL. He was preceded in death by a son Mark Alan Farrell. Private services will be held at a later date at PAX Christi Catholic Church. Donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
