Jimmy Baley Floyd, 76, husband of Anna Wilhoite Floyd, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, at Baptist Health Lexington. On November 5, 1944, he was born in Jessamine County to the late William Bill and Beatrice Gill Floyd. Jimmy worked as a mechanic for Paul Miller Ford, where he was employed for 42 years and was also a member of the Nicholasville Baptist Church. Additionally, he is survived by one daughter, Valerie Floyd Meza, three brothers, Billy, Ricky, and Bobby Floyd, three sisters, Barbara Murphy, Louise Land and Beatrice Gayle Cheek, three grandchildren, Alexa Bailey Ann Meza, Ashley Wayne and Timberly Towles, four great grandchildren, Laken Wayne, Brody, Lily and Courtney Towles, one great grand cat, Copernicus and one great grand dog, Izzy. He was proceeded in death by a daughter, Veronica Denise Williams, two brothers, Chester, and Harold Floyd, four sisters, Helen Devork, Betty Reynolds, Joyce Denton, and Judy Hager and one cat, Pumpkin. Services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:00 AM -12:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
