Jessie Mae Marler, 93, widow of Ralph Marler, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her home in Waynesburg, Kentucky. She was born in Lexington on November 1, 1929, to the late Jess Ernest Grugin and Mary Sams Grugin. Jessie is survived by her son, Les Ralph Marler (Elizabeth); daughters, Beth Land (Richard) and Vicky Lowery (Ray); eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ralph, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Marler, and a brother, Orlan Grugin. Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, October 13, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Bro. Bill Bales and Bro. Mickey Stinnett officiating. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, with Harold Mink, Richard E. Land, Timothy Land, Ricky Land, Jeffrey Land, Matthew Blakeman, and Timothy Tipton serving as bearers, and Richard L. Land as an honorary bearer. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service, Thursday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Marler family in their time of need.
