Jason Jack Thomas

Nicholasville-Jason Jack Thomas, 32, husband of Cassie Preston Pruitt Thomas, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 due to injuries in a tractor trailer accident in Youngstown, Ohio. Jason was an awesome husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was an avid sportsman and all around athlete, had bowled a 300 game, played softball and golf, loved spending time with his sons, the Cowboys, his animals and was a good poker player. He was born on February 12, 1978 in Joliet, Illinois. He was a truck driver for McLane. Survivors include two sons, Caydon Thomas and Wade Edmonds of Nicholasville his father, Randy Jack Thomas of IL; and Robin Elaine Homberg (Manuel) Reyes of Nicholasville; a brother, Josh Thomas of IL; and a two sisters, Amy Thomas and Shannon Masters of IL; his grandparents, Jack and Bette Thomas of IL; Joan Golf of IL; and Mary Zambrano of TX, his mother and father in law, Phillip and Carolyn Pruitt and a sister in law, Cindy Callis all of Lexington and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday at Southland Christian Church in the Chapel in building B with Rev. Jon Weece officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be J. R. Allen, Jarod Roop, Jared Hughes, Daniel Burnett, Paul Niswander, Randy Mastin, Ryan Giurgevich, Josh Thomas and Rudy Sandlin. Honorary Bearers will be Jeremy Trout, D.J. Lewis, Tommy Lutton, Doug Nelson, Casey Thomas, Eric Huff, Reece Taylor, Wasfi Saaman and Jason Cissell. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00PM-8:00 PM at the church.
