Jan Alison Winkleman

Jan Alison Winkleman, age 60, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018,
surrounded by family. She graduated from Ohio Northern University with a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and was a member of
Delta Zeta sorority. In 1976 she met her husband, Larry, at ONU and they
were married in 1980. Jan and Larry moved to Perrysburg in 1985, where
they raised their three children. She was a dedicated member of Grace
United Methodist Church where she participated for many years in the
choir and children ministries. Jan was a beloved teacher for Grace UMC
Preschool for 15 years. In 2013, Jan and Larry relocated to Nicholasville,
Kentucky, where they enjoyed spending time with family and friends,
church family at Wilmore Free Methodist, and frequent traveling. She will
be remembered as a thoughtful friend, loving wife and excellent mother
and grandmother. Jan is survived by her husband of 37 years, Larry; her
children, Ryan (Alyssa) Winkleman, Tyler (Erin) Winkleman, and Alison
(Elias) Zani; as well as her 5 grandchildren Grey, Jack, Harper, Alaina, and
Theo.
Services will be held in both Kentucky and Ohio.
In Kentucky, visitation will take place March 26, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. and a
memorial service March 27 at 10:30 a.m. Both will take place at Wilmore
Free Methodist Church, Wilmore, Kentucky.
In Ohio, visitation will take place April 2, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. and a
memorial service April 3 at 10:30 a.m. Both will take place at Grace United
Methodist Church, Perrysburg, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either Wilmore
Free Methodist Church or Grace United Methodist Church to support
various ministries.
