James William Reed

James William Reed, 45, died unexpectedly Wednesday. He was a employee of Shoney-s in Danville. He is the son of Raymond Lee Reed and the late Nancy Virginia Broaddus Reed. Additional survivors are two children, Ella Grace Reed and James William Reed II, a brother Raymond Lee Reed II, a sister, Rose Ella Reed Catlett, all of Danville, a special friend, Mary Ellen Phillips, his girlfriend, Melinda Hodge and many other family members. Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Bottrell. Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service. Bearers will be Robert and Scott Reed, Richard Prather, John Huekle, Danny Smith and Chris Smith. Honorary bearers will be Doug, Charles and Kenneth Reed as well as his Shoney-s co-workers.
