James Pal Pinkston

James Pal Pinkston, 90, widower of Helen Short Pinkston, died Friday, November 20, 2009. James was a retired teacher for the Barren County School System and a Marine Corp Veteran. Survivors are two children, Kelly (Skip) Pinkston of WV and Fay (Billy) Morris of Nicholasville, two grandchildren, David and Lisa Hernadez of WV, one great granddaughter, Quintheta Hernadez of WV, one sister, Vera Mae Pinkston of TN. Services will be 1:30 Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Tim, Johnny, James and David Morris, Ronnie Morgan and Richard Basil. Honorary bearer will be Paris Rhineheimer.
