James Edward Day

James Edward Day, 75, died Saturday, January 1, 2011. He was born April 12, 1935 in Benham, Ky to the late Arnold John and Alberta Letner Day. James was a retired electrician for General Electric. Survivors are two children, James Wesley (Gerri Lynn) Day of Nicholasville and Sherry Lynn (Stewart) Day Matthews of GA, three grandchildren, Andrew Wesley and Lindsay Renee Day of Nicholasville, Ethan Lee Matthews of GA, a sister, Vivian Arlene Lewis of Nicholasville, a brother, Paul Dwayne (Trula) Day of Putney and other family members. Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
