James Derek Frazier

James Derek Frazier, 25, son of James E. and Kesha Gayle Laney Frazier, died April 1, 2012 in San Diego, CA. Derek was an active duty member of the U.S. Navy and a 2006 graduate of West Jessamine High School. Additional survivors include his sisters, Amanda Frazier and Jessica Frazier and a brother, Scott Luker, grandmother, Sally Laney, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at Betts & West Funeral Home with Chaplin Dewayne Brewer officiating. Burial will take place in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers will be Shawn Murphy, Joseph and Mark L. Walters, Dempsey Gross, Brandon Crowe, C.T. Smith and Scott Taylor. Honorary bearers will be Mark A.
