Jackie Ray Wells

Jackie Ray Wells, 73, widower of beloved wife of thirty seven years, Judith Elaine Soper Wells, together again, died April 21, 2011 after al lengthily illness. He was born April 21, 1938 in Nicholasville to the late Albert and Louise Moore Wells. Jackie was a member of Wilmore United Methodist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and was retired after forty one years with Kroger. Additional survivors are are two children, Kathy Wells and Paul Ray Wells and his girlfriend Michelle Masters, three grandchildren Dustin C. (Nicole) Wells as he raised as his own, Courtney and Brandon Morris, two great grandchildren, Blake and Peyton Wells, one sister, Betty (Armster) Bruner, one brother. Kenneth (Norma) Wells and numerous other relatives. Services will be 11:00am Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Leonard Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Billy Stines, Sherlton and Bill Dietrich, John Slugantz, Johnie Clark, Jimmy Soper and Frankie Hubbard. Honorary Bearers will be Tony Wells, Armster and Jackie D.
