Irene Rainwater

Irene Rainwater of Wilmore passed away on Sunday June 17, 2012. Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years Ezra Rainwater. In her 89 years Irene owned and operated several small businesses. In addition Irene was a member of several boards and taught Sunday School.at Wilmore United Methodist Church. In her retirement years, Irene was the church hostess and operated the dining hall at Wilmore Campmeeting. Irene was the mother of four sons and daughter-in-laws: Harold and Shari of Wilmore, James and Wanda of Wilmore, Vernon and Connie of Orlando FL and Randy and Anita of Atlanta GA; nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grand children. Visitation is Thursday 6-9 PM at Betts and West Funeral Home in Nicholasville. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM at the Wilmore United Methodist Church.
