Howard Frank Goldey

Howard Frank Goldey, 90, widower of Nellie Aldridge Goldey, passed Friday, March 13, 2015. He was born October 18, 1924 in Preston, KY to the late Shelby Jefferson and Imogene Carolyn Stephens Goldey. Frank was retired from American Tobacco and G.F. Vaughn, was a WW II Navy veteran, liked to fish and was an avid UK fan. Survivors are six children, Patricia (Garner) Crutchfield, John Goldey, Gerard (Teresa) Goldey, Paul (Karen) Goldey, Mark (Joann) Goldey, Angela Brown and her daughter Christine, sixteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, three siblings, Ruth Ann Goldey, George Goldey and John Goldey, special friend, Paula Lewis and other family members. He was also preceded in death by seven siblings, William Goldey, Carrie Riley, James Kenneth Goldey, Gene Dawson Goldey, Joe Thomas Goldey and Geneva Schmidt. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Scholar officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Pete Rayburn, Damon Goldey, Chris Chanda, Kevin Brown, Brian Goldey and Lawrence Riley. Honorary Bearers will be Kris Goldey, Larry Goldey, Gary Goldey, George Goldey, Mike Goldey, Billy Pat Riley, David Goldey, Tony Schmidt, Bill Goldey, Danny Goldey, Jeffry Goldey, Andrew Goldey, John T.
