Helen Marie Lee Mcdonald Adkins

Helen Marie Lee McDonald Adkins, 66, passed Friday, October 21, 2016. She was born June 18, 1950 in Nicholasville, KY to the late Robert Roy and Nora Land Lee. Helen attended Harmony Fellowship, loved to sew and cook but most of all loved being with her family. Family survivors are three daughters, Kimberly Dawn Ballard, Tonya Sue (Milgen) Lowry and Vonya Ann (William) Mitchell, a son, Johnny Roy McDonald, ten grandchildren, Jamie, Asley, Manuel, Fernando, Ines, Carmen, Felix, April, Candi and Shyann, nine great grandchildren, two sisters, Brenda Johns and Violet Johnson, a brother, Bobby Glen Lee and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Roy Lowry and a grandson, Daniel Keith Hampton. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor John Ritchie and Bobby Glen Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Bobby Glen Lee, Johnny Roy McDonald, Felix Wayne Lopez, Jay Mitchell, Milgen De Leon and Jamie Marie Fletcher.
