Helen Carroll Strange

Helen Carroll Strange, 102, widow of Amos Strange, passed, Monday, January 15, 2018. She was born June 15, 1915 in Keene, KY to the late Bolivar Bond and Julia Ann Shyrock Carroll. Helen was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors are a sister, Marie Jordan, sister in law, Betty Carroll, special niece, Charlene Clark, nieces and nephews and other family members. Helen was also preceded in death by six siblings, Loraine Becknell, Christine Becknell, Carlos Carroll, Hugh Jean Carroll, Rosa Mae Strange, and Boliver “Son” Daniel Carroll. Service will be 2:30 PM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie White officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 PM until time of service. Bearers will be Darian Garrett, Mitch Garrett, Aaron Jordan, Justin Garrett, Jordan Hall, and Tim White.
