Harry Cecil Lewis, 94, widower of Mildred Johnson Lewis passed away Thursday December 11, 2014. He was born in Washington County to the late Fred and Ella B. Crawford Lewis. Harry was a retired farmer and a member of the Mt Freedom Baptist Church. He was survived by one son Cecil Lewis Jr, two grandchildren, Jacqueline Saylor and Tammy Underwood, six great grandchildren Ronnie and Olivia Saylor, John Michael and Jakey Neal Stevenson, and Savannah and Cheyenne Brock, two great great grandchildren Jarrod and Alana Stevenson, and one sister Allie B. Curd. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by eleven siblings. Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday at Betts and West Funeral Home with Nathan Elliott and Leonard Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Mike Lewis, James West, Ronnie Saylor, Roger Saylor, Donnie Collins, and Randy Lynch, honorary bearers will be grandchildren. Online guestbook at www.Betts&Westfuneralhome.com
