Harrison Brim Jr.

Harrison Brim Jr., 73, passed August 22, 2016. He was born May 29, 1943 in Garrard County to the late Harrison Brim and Bessie Winkel Brim Mulligan. Harrison loved auctions, yard sales and his dog, Harley. Survivors are his significant other, Essie Lainhart, a daughter, Betty Sams, two grandsons, Jimmy Lee Bain and Justin Wayne McHone two great granddaughters, two great grandsons, two sisters, Betty (Earl) Graham and Shirley Dunaway and other family members. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until service time. Bearers will be Jack Preston, Butch York, Allen Lainhart, Dwight Lainhart, Kyle Lainhart and James Bain. Honorary Bearers will be, David Noe, David Jarvis, Chuck York, Bob Bryant, Terry Absher, Richard Absher, Jerry Preston and Joe Absher. Contributions suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
