Gilbert Brooks

Gilbert Brooks, 95, husband of Mary Pauline Peel Brooks, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011. He was born October 28, 1915 in Jessamine County to the late Floyd and Nancy Elizabeth Dean Brooks. Survivors are two children, Donald L. Brooks of Nicholasville and Bernard G. (Brenda) Brooks of Garrard County, two grandchildren, Candi and Kevin (Crystal) Brooks of Nicholasville, six great grandchildren, Loryn, Jerri Lynn, Noah, Zachary, Katie and Landen Brooks, all of Nicholasville and other family members. Services will be 2:00pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
