George Thomas Shofner

George Thomas Shofner, 79, of Elmwood Drive, died December 14, 2011 after a brief illness. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate and fan of the University of Kentucky. He is survived by five children, Richard Alan Shofner, Thomas Neil Shofner Sr., Matthew Todd Shofner, Fr. Christopher Lee Shofner and Donald Harvey, ten grandchildren and his former wife, Emma Shofner. Services will be 11:00am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Father William C. Bush officiating.
