Frank Cardinali

Nicholasville-Frank Cardinali, 94, widower of Blanche Cardinali, of Sussex Estates, died November 24, 2009. Mr. Cardinali was a manager at IBM for 24 years, a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II, and a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Ronald Cardinali and his wife Brenda of Richmond, a daughter, Barbara Cox and her friend, Joe Leach of Lexington, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a brother, Louis Cardinali-NJ, two sisters Lilly Marconi-NJ and Elizabeth DiMatteo-NY, numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Corcione and Julia Bertagnoli. Services will be 11:00am Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father William Bush officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest with his wife in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
