Frances (Gaggee) Brumfield

Frances (GagGee) Brumfield, 93, widow of J.S. Brumfield, died Thursday, August 6,2010. Frances was a member of Southland Christian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Shearer; grandchildren, Linda Shearer, Lexington, Steve Shearer,Nicholasville and their father Jim Shearer; great-grand children Cooper and Cade Shearer. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. She was a county home extension agent in Jessamine County and later a bookkeeper at Keller Motor Company. Visitation is from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm Monday at Betts and West Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 pm with Minister Dale Hunt officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Steve Shearer to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710.
