Everine W. Parker

Everine W. Parker, 90, widow of James O’Neill Parker, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born in Garrard County on January 17, 1932, to the late Kitty Knight Grimes. She was a member of the Spoken Word Tabernacle. She is survived by two sons, James Parker (Tonya) and Jack Parker, two daughters, Hattie Cross (Danny) and Rilda Peel (James), a brother, Clyde Knight, five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, James, she is preceded by a sister, Willie J. Stinnett. Services will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday, March 17, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Danny Cross officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Parker family in their time of need.
