Evelyn Jane Parrish

Evelyn Jane Bennett Parrish, 94, widow of Leslie Meredith Parrish, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at her home in Nicholasville. She was born January 17, 1928, in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, to the late Franklin E. Bennett and Bessie Mae Filer Bennett. She was a First United Methodist Church member in Paris, Kentucky. She is survived by three sons, Leslie Charles Parrish (Debby), Steven Trent Parrish (Terry), and Michael Earnest Parrish, one daughter, Deborah Ann Wise, as well as nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, William Charles Bennett, and two sisters, Dorothy Gladys McCandless and Mary Alverta Bennett. Services will be 1:30 PM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
