Eugene Walker

Eugene Walker, 77, husband of Ann Peel Walker of Jessamine County, died Monday, June 7, 2010. He was born September 27, 1932 in Jessamine County to the late Walter and Lizzie Hughes Walker. Eugene was a member of Christ Community Church and attended Antioch Christine Church. Additional survivors are a sister, Yvonne Lowery of Jessamine County, a brother, Fred Walker of OR and other family members. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Stinnett Walker and two brothers, Stanford and Phillip Walker. Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johns and Rev. Clint Hurt officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Jesse, Rick, Jim, Danny and Cody Lowry, Doodle Peel, Bronse Hager and Ron Stinnett. Honorary bearers will be Coleman Walker, Johnny Davis, Jim Peel, Brutus Stinnett, Don Hicks, Nelson Hager, Jeff Crutcher, Joe Walker, Kevin Corman and Will Stinnett.
