Eugene Smith, Sr., 64, husband of Rebecca Tillett Smith died, Tuesday, June 8, 2021. He was born in Perry County, Kentucky on October 10, 1956, to the late Asble and Ethel Griffith Smith. Survivors include daughters, Jennifer Smith, Ashleigh Smith brother, Jimmy Smith, sisters, Joann Walker, Betty Neff, and Sandy Smallwood, three grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Kassie Roby, and Christopher Smith and a great granddaughter, His Little Princess, Rosalee Roby. He was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Smith Jr. and a daughter, Jessica Smith, brothers, Larry, Enoch and Tommy Smith, sisters, Linda Mink and Judy Smith. Services will be 2:00PM, Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Trai Roby, Ernie Lunsford, James Land, Albert Halcomb, A.J. Halcomb, and Steven Smith. Honorary bearers will be Tyler Smith, Christopher Smith, Roger Smith, Tony Underwood, and Kenneth Abshear. Visitation will be 6:00PM -9:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
