Ethan Hulett Hager

Ethan Hulett Hager, 26, husband of Kristen Michaela Hager, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on March 8, 1997, to William Hager and Joan Ewing Hager. Ethan was a kindhearted young man. He could talk to anyone about just about anything. He never met a stranger. He was a talented chef and worked for many years at several different restaurants. Most of all, he loved his wife, Kristen, and his children, Oliver and Willa. He is survived by his wife, Kristen; son, Oliver Hager; daughter, Willa Elizabeth Hager; brother, William Grant Hager; sister, Katherine Hager Roberts (Joshua Wade); maternal grandmother, Mary Maye; and his father- and mother-in-law, Robert & Bernice Holcomb. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 19, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Joshua Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where bearers will be Casper Scanlon, Robert Holcomb, Joshua Roberts, John Ewing, Cannan Grall, and Zach Perdue. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve Ethan and his family in their time of need.
