Essie Baker Lanzendorf

Essie Baker Lanzendorf, 87, widow of R.G. Sallee and David Lanzendorf died Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on July 20, 1931 to the late Shelby and Delia Baker. Essie worked in the Real Estate Industry with Russ Dunn, she also enjoyed gardening and visiting her many friends and family. Survivors include her son, Phillip (Linda) Sallee, granddaughter, Autumn (Adam) McKenzie and three great grandchildren, Peyton, Emme and Gavin, two step daughters, Dr. Sarah (Jeff) Sweet and Jennifer Lanzendorf. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Carol Sallee. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00- 2:00PM, Monday, September 17, 2018 at Betts & West Funeral Home.
