Ernest Carl Newton

Ernest Carl Newton, 73, passed Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was born February 12, 1944 in Estill County to the late Ernest and Martha Jane Henry Newton. He was a former crane operator for Wilhite Ltd.. Ernest was a loving father and grandfather. Family survivors are three children, Ernie (Denise) Newton Jr., Kevin (Janice) Newton, and Tim (Michelle) Newton, his loving companion, Angela Waldrop, seven grandchildren, Kevin Newton II, Megan Newton, Tim Newton Jr., Taylor Newton, Brianna Clem, Billie Clem, and Sarah Clem, three great grandchildren, Hadley, Grayson, and Parker Wright, four sisters, Ada Tanner, Alice Johns, Lucille Beam, and Carol Feck, one brother, Dwight Newton, and other family members. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James E. Newton and Danny O. Newton. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
