Edward Dan Burton

Edward Dan Burton, 75, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011. He was born February, 23, 1936 in Lexington, KY to the late James and Mary Elizabeth White Burton. He loved being with his family and the outdoors. Survivors are three children, Glenn (Ann) Burton-OH, Kelly (Ray) Shank-OH, Jerald (June) Burton-Lex., nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four siblings, James (Margaret) Burton, Kenneth (Billie) Burton, Betty (Henry) Huddleston, Jo Ann (Tex) Cosby, and Jerry (Beverly) Burton, many other family members. Services will be 2:00pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from Saturday from Noon-2:00pm. Bearers will be Frank Patterson, Michael Marion, Darrell Jones, Matthew, Ben,Sam Burton and Jeffrey Scott Marion. Honorary bearers will be Tex Cosby and Ray Shank.
