Dianna Marie Newton

Dianna Marie Newton, 69, widow of Danny Newton Sr., of Applegrove Drive, Nicholasville, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at her home. She was born on March 25, 1954, in Lancaster, Kentucky, to the late Ralph Cunningham Sr. and Suanna Walton Cunningham. Dianna was a retired administrator at the Jessamine County Health Department. Survivors include two daughters, Dana Marie (Bradford) Stone and Delores (Mike) Watkins; four grandchildren, Colin David Clem, Grayson Tyler Daniel Clem, Kayla Watkins, and Malory Watkins, a brother, Ralph (Kyna) Cunningham Jr. and a sister, Vicki (Wesley) Corman. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Newton Jr. Services will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Bradford Stone, Wesley Corman, Mike Kestel, Shawn Kestel, David Clem and Christopher Williams. Honorary bearers will be Colin Clem, Grayson Clem, Garrett Farris, and Alex Farris. The visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
