Diane Elizabeth Underwood

Diane Elizabeth Underwood, 65, wife of Eugene Morgan Underwood, of Elm Street, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home. She was born on August 9, 1955 to the late Leo and Amanda Burton Jones. She worked as a custodian for the Jessamine County Schools. Additional survivors include two sons, Travis Peel and Lester (Stacy) Underwood, three daughters, Mikki (Andy) Smith, Rachel (Glen) Burr, and Melinde (Josh Montgomery) Friess, one brother, Michael Allen Jones, one sister, Patty Sue (Mike) Gullett, twenty-three grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Katherine Faye Underwood and Jennifer Lynn Underwood. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday, May 17, 2021 at the funeral home.
