David Homer Moore

David Homer Moore, 62 died Saturday. He was born January 30, 1951 in Rochester, New York to the late Homer Floyd and Lillian Elizabeth Adkins Moore. David had been a self employed general contractor. David was an Air Force Veteran, member of VFW, AMVETS, American Legion and NRA. David was driven to help other disabled veterans receive benefits they were entitled to. He loved to tell stories and to be social with people. Survivors are a son, Kirk Moore and his wife Trina, five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Cassidy, Wesley and Leah Moore, a sister, Nina Crespo, a brother, James Moore and other family members. Services will be 1:30 Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service. Contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
