Darlene "Dolly" Tackett

Darlene “Dolly” Tackett, 89, widow of Lewis Tackett, died Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was born on March 9, 1928 in Shenandoah, Iowa to the late Asa and Lola Allely Cooper. Dolly was retired from the Postal Service and was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, Denny (Theresa) Kemp, a daughter in law, Shantelle Kemp, nine grandchildren, Tina Marie Kemp, Terri Ann (Dean) Morgan, Daniel Lee (Gina) Kemp, Dean Francis (Kesha) Kemp, Tammy Lynn (Tony) Vance, Tiffany Marie (Derek Craft) Kemp, Reese Jordan Kemp, Mackenzie Lola Ann Kemp and Kennon LaVern Kemp, eight great-grandchildren, Ashley (Jeffrey) Armstrong, Hannah Morgan, Lindsey Kemp, Collin Kemp, Colton Kemp, Aubrey Kemp, Kypton Kemp and Lola Vance. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Lee Kemp. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Betts & West Funeral Home.
