Connie Sue Branscum

Connie Sue Branscum, 71, loving wife of Joel W. Branscum of Bicknell Lane, Wilmore, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Lexington, and a youth sports organizer including Dixie Baseball and State Jr. & Pro Basketball also in Lexington. She was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on April 9, 1939, the daughter of the Conley Bell and Lillian Stanley Bell. She was the beloved mother of Wade (Becky) Branscum, John (Gina) Branscum and Patty McAnly, grandmother of, Morgan, Megan, Conley, Madison and John Stuart, sister of Brad (Sandy) Bell and Barbara (Jim) Grant. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 11, 2010 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Chaplin Jim Harrison officiating and burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
