Christian Nicole Simpson

Christian Nicole Simpson, 27, passed away August 15, 2015 at the UK Medical Center. She was born on October 6, 1987 in Lexington, Kentucky. Christian was a former employee of the Chrisman Mill Winery and a graduate of West Jessamine High School where she belonged to the 4H dog club and the volleyball team. Survivors include her parents, Marlena Carol Willhoite and Kenneth Lee Embry, son John Patrick Simpson, one brother Kenneth Lee Embry 'Trey' III, maternal grandfather William Willhoite, maternal great grandmother Irene Whitaker Willhoite Caldwell and a special friend Carolyn Montgomery. Christian was also preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Jeanette Willhoite. Funeral service will be conducted at 1PM Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Betts & West funeral Home with Pastor Norman Calvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Casket Bearers will be Anthony Foster, Tony Whitaker, Shannon Reynolds, Robert Gregory, John Hamilton and William Hogue. Honorary casket bearers will be all the staff of the Hematology Dept at UK Markey Cancer Center. Special thanks to Dr. Amit Goldberg and her team.
