Charlie Mae Ward

Charlie Mae Ward, 93, widow of Carl Ward, of Third Street, died June 13, 2011. Mrs. Ward was a long time member of Nicholasville United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Ward (Henning) Carlsen, sons, Charles 'Eddie' (Debbie) Ward, Larry Wayne (Dianne) Ward and Jerry (Melody) Ward, eight grandchildren, Laura, Susan, Steven, Eddie, Megan, Travis, Tyler and Drew, two great grandchildren, Hailey and Ava, a brother, Houston (Nettie Lou) Hefner and a special sister in law, Bernell (Hugh) Hudgens. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ward. Services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Snyder officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11am Wednesday. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as bearers. Instead of flowers the family suggests donations to the Nicholasville United Methodist Church or Hospice.
