Charles L. Begley

Charles L. Begley, 76, husband of Sally Begley, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Thompson Hood Veterans Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Springfield to the late Luther C. and Mary Edna Smock Begley. He proudly served our country in the Army for 20 years. Additional survivors are his daughter, Michelle (Frank) Edwards, a son, Micheal -Chuck- (Beate) Begley- both of VA, three grandchildren, a sister, Lilibeth Broaddus-Lexington, a step sons, Marty Baker-Wilmore, Mark Hardin-Georgetown and Kirk Hardin-Lexington. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Botts. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Leonard Fitch officiating.
