Charles “Charlie” Faulkner, Jr. 73, husband of Phyllis Morgan Faulkner, died Saturday, July 3, 2021, at UK Medical Center. He was born on May 2, 1948, in Oriskany Falls, New York to the late Charles Faulkner Sr. and Edna Vera Cahow Faulkner. Charlie was a mechanical engineer at Hospital Specialty in Nicholasville, Oriskany Falls Volunteer Firefighter, and attended Grace Community Church of Nazarene. Survivors include sons, Charles (Sebrina) Faulkner III and Ray (Brittany) Faulkner, five grandchildren, Jonathan (Kasey) Reed, Jennifer (Wayne) Price, Tyler (Maddie) Faulkner, Charles (Halle) Faulkner IV, and Sarah (Jordan) Osborne, four great grandchildren, Emilia Yvonne Faulkner, Lucas Reed, Natalie Reed and Alaina Price. and a sister, Joan Day. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Reed and three siblings, Anna Meyer, Sally Faulkner, and Scott Faulkner. Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 9, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com
