Cathy Lynn Jeter

Cathy Lynn Jeter, 69, wife of Jim Jeter, of Leah Court, Nicholasville, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. Cathy was born in Harlan County on June 1, 1952, to the late Roy and Mildred Balltrip Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Jim, a son, Carl Lee Jeter, two daughters, Jamie Michelle (Nelson) Shrout and April Renee Eades, two brothers, Al (Debbie) Wilson and Roy (Lorraine) Wilson, six grandchildren, Christian Hunter Jeter, Caitlyn Lynn Jeter, Jacob Nelson Shrout, Clayton Shane Eades, Carlee Ann Jeter, and Reese McKenna Jeter, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brittany Eades, and one sister, Ethel Francis “Cookie” Rayburn. Services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Dean Rase officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Roy Wilson, Al Wilson, Nelson Shrout, Clayton Eades, Christian Jeter, and Jacob Shrout. Visitation will be 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
