Carrie Frances Lowery

Carrie Francis Lowery, widow of Lonnie Lowery, of Lake Street, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Amanda Blakeman Johns. Survivors include her children, Joyce Griffith, Sandra (Don) Clift, Shirley (Tammy) Wayne Lewis and Michael Lewis, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, a daughter in law, Verna Lewis. She was preceded in death by two children, Billy and Ricky Lewis. Services will be 2:00pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Newland officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Bearers will be her granddaughters, Dana Blake, Shonda Bailey, Angie Clift, Cindy Hicks, Lisa Page, Penny Lee, Tabitha Lewis and Tiffany Resor.
