Carolyn Sue Stinnett Collins, 74 widow of John Andrew Collins, 80, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at her home in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky on December 11, 1946, to the late Chester Stinnett and Barbara Rhineheimer Stinnett. She was a member of Apostolic Fellowship Holiness Church and worked as a Caregiver. Survivors include sons, John Collins (Amy) and Mark Collins, three grandchildren, Seth Collins, Jonathan Collins and Zachary Collins and two sisters, Patricia Hall (Bruce), and Bonnie Mewhorter (Earl). She was preceded in death by siblings, Clyde Stinnett, Pauline Reynolds, and Roger Stinnett. Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Friday, July 2, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Murphy officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
