Carolie Mae Mcmillen Hanson

Carolie Mae McMillen Hanson, 71, passed away July 28, 2015. She was born on October 6, 1943 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Corbett Franklin and Thalia Ruth Whitaker McMillen. She was retired from the VA Hospital where she worked in the Medical Pathology Department. Carolie is survived by two daughters Kathleen (William) Buchanan and Christina (Randy) Bates, two sisters Margaret (Dick) Darlington and Kathy (Jim) Bailey and three grandchildren Haley Buchanan, Elizabeth Bates and Brit Buchanan. A gathering of family and friends will be conducted from 5-8 PM Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Betts & West Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bluegrass of the Hospice.
