Bobby Norton Becknell

Bobby Norton Becknell, 75, widower of Ella Marie Dixon Becknell, passed Monday, October 17, 2016. He was born July 5, 1941 in Jessamine County to the late Clarence Edmond and Lillie Christine Carroll Becknell. Bobby was an ordained Minister, Deacon and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, enrolled agent with the IRS, farmer and manager at H&R Block. Family survivors are a son, Gregory Norton (Veronica) Becknell, three grandchildren, Bryan (Courtney), Cadyn Becknell and Lily Becknell, one great granddaughter, Ella Becknell, one brother, Wayne (Linda) Becknell, a sister in law, Marge Smith, a brother in law, Charles Dixon and other family members. Service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Betts & West Funeral Home and Friday from Noon until service time at the church. Bearers will be Randy Grow, Sam Hughes, Gary Dean, Keith Kestel, Will Pettit and Jesus Torres.
