Billy Wayne Mastin, Sr.

Billy Wayne Mastin, Sr., 72, widower of Susan “Suzie” Maxine Cuzick Mastin, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on January 16, 1952, to the late Andy Marion Mastin and Adeline Becknell Mastin. Billy was a retired custodian at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky. He is survived by children, Billy Wayne Mastin, Jr., James Wesley Hurt, Jr., Tammy Cuzick, Sabrina Lynn Mastin, four siblings, Danny Mastin, Andy (Sissy) Mastin, Paulette Houp and Ruth Ray, and eight grandchildren, Draven Wooten, Seth Wooten, Kilynn Wooten, Lydia Wooten, Christian Mastin, Sienna Mastin, Ozlyn Feltner, and Joseph Blevins. Services will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, May 24, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with David Mastin, Donnie Baker, Danny Mastin, Andy Mastin, James Hurt, and Billy Mastin Jr. serving as bearers.
