Billie Allen Short Burton

Billie Allen Short Burton, age 82, wife of Kenneth Ray Burton, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at her home on Broadway in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born on February 4, 1938 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late William Short and Anna Mae Hughes Short Marcum. Billie worked at Garden Springs Laundromat for many years. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Ray Burton Jr., and Troy James Burton, daughter, Virginia Ann Burton Boone (Leonard), grandchildren, Crystal Lee Boone Eskins (Jeremy), Brooke Burton and Riley Burton, great granddaughter, Rosie Eskins and a sister, Shirley Marcum Ogle (Frank), nephew, Vincent Ogle (Elizabeth). Graveside Services will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Steve Ashley officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery with family and friends serving as bearers. Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 PM, Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home.
