Beula Prather Beckley

Beula Prather Beckley, 97, widow of Tom Beckley, died Thursday, January 12, 2012. She was born October 22, 1914 in Woodford County to the late Rollie B. and Nancy Allen Rudder Prather. Beula was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church and loved to garden, cook, crochet and quilt. Surviving is a daughter, Ruby Beckley (Joe) Waits of Wilmore, eight grandchildren, Teresa (Mark) Murphy of Wilmore, Tim (Jeannette) Waits of Union, Jeanna (Chris) Greene of Florence, Donald Lee (Marina) Beckley of Nicholasville, David (Melissa) Beckley of Nicholasville, Rebecca (Shawn) Patter of Nicholasville, Cody (Leslie) Smith of TX, Nichole (Alford) Gilbert of FL, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other family members. She was also preceded in death by two sons Don and Gary Beckley and other family members. Services will be 2:00PM Saturday, January, 14, 2011 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Andrew Murphy, Arron Waits, Donald, David and Brian Beckley and Allen Tucker. Honorary bearers will be Mark Murphy, Joe and Tim Waites and Cody Beckley.
