Betty Jean Collier Donaldson

Betty Jean Collier Donaldson, age 87, passed away March 18, 2022 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husbands Carl L. Collier, Sr., and John Donaldson, and her brother Dudley Smith. She is survived by her five children: Katherine Davis (Ronald, “Favorite Son-in-Law”), Carl L. Collier, Jr., Robert Collier, William Collier, and Christopher Collier (Kim); five grandchildren: Amanda Davis, Robyn Davis (Michael), and Ronald Davis, Jr. (Tara), Katherine Collier, and Robert Collier, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren: Edward Sholar IV, Tristan Sholar, Easton Davis, Kamryn Davis, Bryanna “Gracie” Clark, and Alexa Davis. She retired after twenty years of service in the logistics department of the federal government. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. She was a lifelong member, and served as elder of the Nicholasville Presbyterian Church, while actively volunteering with the Presbyterian Women. She was an avid traveler who considered Ireland her second home. “Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” Prov. 31:31
Visitation will be held at Catalyst Christian Church on March 25, 2022 from 9:00am-10:45am followed by the funeral at 11:00am. A luncheon will be shared together after the graveside service in the fellowship hall of Catalyst Christian Church.
