Betty Jean Burton Durham

Betty Jean Burton Durham, 82, widow of Lucian Allen Durham, of McDonald Street, died Monday, October 29, 2012. She was born March 4, 1930 to the late Henry Clay and Ida May Rudd Burton. Betty was a member of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children, Patsy Jean (David L.) Brown, Paul David (Sherrie) Durham, Timothy Wayne Durham, Lucian Dale (Natalie) Durham and Tammy Ann Durham, seven grandchildren, Megan, Lauren, Lacey, Brett, Jena, Justin and Payton, five great grandchildren, Riley, Kendall, Eden, Harley and Logan, a sister, Reva Easterling, two brothers, Osie and Kenneth Burton. She was also preceded in death by a son, Carl Allen Durham. Service will be 1:30pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Tuesday.
