Betty Ann Allender Conn

Betty Ann Allender Conn, 74, widow of Elliott Tramel 'Dinky' Conn, died Thursday, July 14, 2016. She was born November 21, 1941 in Campbsville, KY to the late Frank Marion and Ruth Hughes Allender. Betty was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, retired from Wal-Mart after twenty six years of service and loved to read and do crossword puzzles. Additional family survivors are two children, Sammy (Robyn) Conn and Pam McCoy, three grandchildren, Elizabeth Conn, Jennifer Sebastian and Justin Sebastian, three great grandchildren, Shay Sebastian, Darius Helme and Jarrod Poynter, a brother in law, Bobby (Jeannie) Conn and other family members. Service will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Leonard Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Charles Conn, Jerry Garrett, Justin Sebastian, John Conn, Jimmy Conn and Walter 'Bub' Greene. Honorary Bearers will be past and present Wal-Mart employees. Contributions suggested to Hospice of the Blue Grass in Betty Conn's name.
