Barry Lee Henson

Barry Lee Henson, 67, husband of Janet Shearer Henson, died Friday, December 31, 2021, at the UK Medical Center. He was born October 21, 1954, in Harrison County, Kentucky to the late Elmo Henson and the late Elaine Ruth Henson. He was retired from UPS after 45 years of service. Barry was a Bryan Station High School and U.K. graduate, attended Southland Christian Church and was a U.K. and Minnesota Vikings Fan. Survivors include two sons, Jason Henson (Sharon), Brett Durham, (Ashley) and a daughter, Jena Bradley (Teddy), sister Carol Cohen (Ted). He was a Proud Papaw to Madison, Noah, Steel, Taylor, Corbin, Baron, Kane, Lillie Mae and Gabe. Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Craig Yates officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2021, from 5-8:00 PM . Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Jason Henson, Brett Durham, Teddy Bradley, Kyle Lamb, Keith Kranepool, Derek Henson, David Murphy and Sammy Brown.
